I apologize if this question has been posted before...
I'm going to be creating original loops.
Loops will be electronica, old school pop/rock, hip hop, and special effect.
(i.e., synths, pianos, guitars, drums, strings, sampled stuff like human voices, etc.)
I won't be doing any live recording (single or multiple tracks).
My setup will be as follows...
Basic MIDI keyboard controller (no synths, etc.)
Alesis DR-16 Drum Machine
Both of the above will be running thru a MIDI to USB adapter to run into my audio computer.
My computer already has ACID Pro 4 and Sound Forge 7 on it.
The computer's sound card is an M-Audio Delta 66.
I know I could just download the demos, but I'm very anal about installing and uninstalling demo programs on my computer.
All things considered, which of the two Cakewalk programs would be best for me in terms of features and price?
Thanks in advance.
