Project lost

I've been working on a recording almost all day in Cubase LE 5 and I never actually saved, after 6 hours off work I was done and exported the file. Then i by misstake closed down Cubase without saving the project file. Somehow my exported file don't work, it's 62 mb but still there is no sound.
I have Autosave turned on in Cubase but I'm not sure if it did save anything since I never manually saved it(?).

I'm wondering, is there anyway to find the project or is it gone forever or are there any known problems with exported .wav files that can be fixed?
If no, is there any way to find all my vocal, synth and guitar recordings one by one?

Any solutuions? I'd really like my project back, or at least all the vocalfiles..

You ought be doing saves and save as' to a second place- another drive, something.

Do a search for files; of that type, ' * name or text, and/or date..?
