Hey everyone. I really hope I'm posting this in the right forum so I apologize in advance if its wrong. I've been into music most of my life but have turned to DAW music making in the last couple of years. Its been a slow and steady process but I've gradually found great resources and communities (such as this forum) to get through the learning process.
On a quick sidenote I am trying to forge a career in digital marketing and came to a realization that I had to build some kind of website or blog to have as a folio of work to show prospective employers. I then came up with an idea, why not build this blog about my learning process of DAW music production?
Flash forward from that idea and I've created about 5 video tutorials aimed mainly at composition for people who either don't know much about music theory and wanted to make music or for people who might be a bit stuck and just want some new tips on composing to get them going again. I try to do these videos from a position of intermediate knowledge and not a know it all expert. My idea behind this that I want to portray to potential viewers is that just like you I'm also learning and that with a positive attitude and action you can make progress.
I'd absolutely appreciate your thoughts on this idea. Experts, novices. Do you think this has legs? I'd be happy to link a sample video if anyone would like to critique.
