Hey guys....Sorry 'bout asking so many questions lately, but it's an interesting little learning curve....
My problem, this time, is this....I recently changed audio cards from Soundblaster Audigy 2 to the ST Audio C-Port package (which so far I love)....NOW....before I go on, I've still got the Soundblaster in my computer upstairs (studio is down stairs, but anyway) so I still own it and all the rights to use and crap like that (I know people get blasted for things like that 'round here lol...)...So, Cubasis VST came with the Soundblaster and worked fine....It still works fine on the other computer, but it doesn't work in the computer with the C-Port..I've reinstalled , but nothin'......When you try to run it it will start loading, flashes on the screen and then disapears.....What am I doin' wrong here?.....ANY HELP PLEASE!!!!.....Cheers!...

I'm not really sure what the problem is. I assume the cubasis you have is not designed only to work with soundblasters. Have you run the asio and mme setup programs?

Sound and music, the distributors of the cport in Australia, have their own support forum. The moderator there (skinah) knows alot about cports so might be able to help you.

Thanks man, I'll try there too....Is that the same Skinah that posts on the ST AUDIO forum?.....If it is, no doubt I'll get an answer, VERY knowledgable guy from what I"ve seen....

Actually what the problem is that version of the software is designed only to work with that card. You can put the card back into the PC reinstall the software and just have 2 sound cards on that pc. There is nothing wrong with that since the price of software is kinda high. I have a lot of software that was packaged in with hard ware that is exactly like that. Creative is great for that.

Ahh...thought it was gonna be something like that....It's a pain in the arse, but what can ya do huh.....Oh well....Saving time once again...lol...Cheers!
