Hi.
Is there a computer program that is able to make up for latency when i make a recording. Fx if i have 100 buffer size and 8 buffers, but i can monitor my guitar through the soundcard and not through the sequencer (cubase). Then when im done, the sequencer just moves the recorded sound whatever is needed to the right. (man, what a bad explanation)

Cubase SX offers latency compensation on all plugins, tracks etc... However, there will always be some sort of real time latency if you are trying to live monitor through a software application. The more plugs and effects you use, the higher the latency.

You can't really make up for latency (hell of a patent if you figure out how to recover time), but what you can do is make everything else just as late....that's what latency compensators do. One of the reasons I love Samplitude is because of it's extensive latency compensation implimentation.

Samplitude, i gotta check it out.
Anyway, it wouldnt be impossible to simply but the recording those few miliseconds back on the sequencer.

Can Cubase do something similar

Cubase latency compensation works pretty good. The trick is to direct monitor and not to monitor through cubase and let the software sort it out(although my latency is acceptable and I do it the later way)

$1000 for samplitude? Ugh, no thanks

im not shure this is what im looking for, as far as i can see, this only applies to plug-ins. What im looking for is a way to monitor my guitar through the soundcard, then let the program remove the latency after i have recorded the guitar. :o

All programs will do that. You just need a sound card that will allow you to direct monitor the input
