Problems with Recording to mono in CEP

Heres the deal. I record my vocals for my rap group in mono and when they are in multitack view they play in both speakers, but when i switch to thw wav edit mode it only plays the left channel. how do i get it to play in mono in the edit mode??

I believe that's normal. Mine is exactly the same. In record mode, playback is out of both speakers, but when editing the file, only out of one.
 
I don't have an answer or anything, but I wanted to post that that is NOT normal. A mono file should be playing in both speakers regardless of whether you're in multitrack or edit view.

Like I said, I don't have an answer though, lol.
 
Is this happening for just recorded files? When you try importing an mp3 or similar does it still only play through one speaker?

Can't help feeling that you may have recorded to only one channel of a stereo track.

Yeah, I thought that too...but it doesn't explain why the track would be playing normally in the multi-track, does it?

I dunno'...lol - I'd love to see a pic of the file too.
