Hello all!
This is my first post on here, and I apologize for it being such a long one.
I have been using a nady usb-1c mic for recording things such as rap and r&b to just get ideas and possibly make a few amateur mixes and things before school kicks back in and I can use the resources they have there.
Before I start here is a hardware setup I have, if you need more detail just ask.
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
Nady usb-1c microphone.
Cubase 5
Realtek HD Audio Drivers
I have literally tried everything that I can think of to get this mic to set up in Cubase 5. The AISO driver detects the mic and displays it when I go to vst connections. I have it set for a 1 mono in input. I have no sound card (I know right? I'm just scraping by atm ha) but the realtek audio drivers show up and work for the time being. Everything is being shown in Windows 7 hardware and sound set ups, and the mic records in Audacity. I have tried checking things in the "inspector" and from what I know, and from what I've read everything is set correctly. The input is set to m1, which is what the mic is set to in the VST Connections list. The mic is also displayed as active in device setup. I am getting absolutely no signal when I hit record...nothing. I am starting to get very upset as I have put many hours and all thought that I can in why this is not working and I know it has to be a small something.
Please help in any possible way that you can. I appreciate your time for even viewing this post!
