I have just started to use Music Studio 6. I have played with it a little bit and now want to try my hand at recording. My first recording will be a reading instead of music. I will record three people, each having their own part and speaking intermittently.
I hooked into the sound system and got that worked out, and I have good audio via analog. But when I did a trial run recording a voice Music Studio acted as if it is voice activated like a personal cassette recorder. When recording the speaker the sound quality is fine but when the speaker pauses the recording stops and when played back there is no pause but there’s a click where the voice begins again.
Am I doing something wrong or is there something I need to turn off or on to make it record strait through without stopping. I would appreciate it if someone could help me out. Also if anyone has experience doing a recording like this and has some suggestions that would also be appreciated.
