Problems in import midi in Digital Performer

I am using a cubase sx 2.0 in PC. I tried to export midi files in type 0 form and import it again in a digital performer but I cannot do that. Can any one give me some help? Do I have to export the file as type 1 in order to open a midi files in digital performer?

try it and find out. i'd stick with type 1 files anyway. type 0 files are not really used anymore except for uploading to internet.
