I just set-up my equipment, and currently I'm using a Delta 1010 for my interface and a Yamaha mixer for my pre's. I have it set up so that my mics insert into the mixer and then the C-R outs on the mixer are sent to in's 1+2 on the 1010. Out's 1+2 on the 1010 are then sent back to the mixer's return in's.
The problem that I'm having is that when I record (I use Cubase SX) I can't record onto more than 1 track at a time. For example: if I have 3 mics into my mixer they all record onto track 1 in cubase. So I can't play with the individual mic inputs after i record. Also, if i would record with 1 mic onto track 1, and then attempt to record another instrument onto track 2, when i monitor track 1, it bleeds into track 2. (I hope that makes sense)
My 1010 control panel is set-up like this:
H/W out 1/2: monitor mixer
H/W out 3/4: WAV out 3/4
H/W out 5/6: WAV out 5/6
H/W out 7/8: WAV out 7/8
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thanks for your help!
