What version of Vegas are you using, and are you using WDM or ASIO drivers? Also might help to know what soundcard/audio interface you're using...

hi

im using vegas 4.0 and i have the roland rpc-1 sound card(the one that comes with the roland studio pack

and i have both drivers but im im using wdm right now because the asio cause the sound sometimes to skip and have gaps.

thanks

Well, it's really best to use ASIO drivers, but WDM will work if that's the only way for you to do it. Make sure you have updated to Vegas 4.0d, because there were some issues with WDM and audio being out-of-sync in 4.0c (and possibly earlier builds). 4.0d does take care of the problem you're experiencing.

You can highlight the entire out of sync track>then goto the beginning of "said track">expand it>turn off SNAP TO [F8]>nudge it to the left until it is in sync.

;)
