Hello, I just need a little help. I originally thought it was a problem with my sound card (audiophile 2496) but now I'm starting to think that it's my mixer.
Ok here is the deal I am tring to record guitar, the guitar is going through an amp simulator into the first track on the UB802. From the mixer I am going out from the "tape out" into the input on my soundcard. Now I also am coming into the mixer from the out on the soundcard into the "tape in" on the mixer. I am monitoring through both the "phones" and the "control room out".
Now here is the problem when the "tape to ctrl room" button is pressed I can hear the beat that is coming in from my PC this is good, but I can't hear the guitar. And when I don't press that button the exact opposite happens. The thing is that I need to hear both the beat coming into the mixer and the guitar.
I hope someone can help me with this... Thanks in advance!
