Problem with MIDI

Hey guys,

I'm trying to record the drums with the midi lm-7.

I play on beat but somehow the notes get carried back 1/2 a bar!??????

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I checked I tried on and off and its still the same problem
 
I've had this problem...if the notes are getting carried back *exactly* to the bars (quantizing) then I would say you have autoquantize on. However, sometimes there's a problem with the 'emulated' ports where cubase will 'see' extra ports or something like that and the midi signal will be doubled or get mixed up somehow...heh sorry for lack of technical jargon, i don't know exactly how it happens but I know what fixed it for me...

There's a folder in the Cubase directory called MIDI Port Filter I believe. Inside there is a file called "ignoreportfilter". Copy that file and paste it into the Cubase directory folder. That should take care of redundant ports and hopefully solve the problem if thats what it is. Good luck!
