problem with installing midi keyboard in cubase ! :(

I jst bought a USB midi interface (U2MIDI V2) to connect my yamaha p-95 to cubase 5 in windows vista (32bit) . the USB cable and driver works and the midi in port has also been recognized. so I went through the tutorials to find out how to set up a new midi device . the problem is tht I can't find the yamaha p-95 in the list of preset midi devices in the device manager . can someone explain how to create a new midi device manually ? im confused with all the settings (channels, pannels, variables, etc.) does someone use the yamaha p-95 and can help me out ? tht would be awesome !!

issue solved! but now I hear the voice in cubase a second later than it is initially played on the piano. does someone have advice how to synchronize the signal perfectly?
