i have a motu 828mkii and i have a problem with monitoring previously recorded tracks.

say drummer records drum track.....
now guitar wants to record, needs to hear drum track in headphone mix, which should be outputs 1and2 (going to the headphone amp) but when i think its all set up, guitarist can only hear himself in the headphones, cuz the computer isnt sending all audio to outputs 1 and 2, only through the 1/4" TRS headphone out on the front, and the Main outs to my monitors.

is there a way to rerout all audio through cuemix again to i can route it to whatever output i wish?

You should be able to specify what tracks get played in what outputs in your recording software. What program are you using?

Can't you create Aux sends for the tracks and route them to whatever outputs you want? Just a guess ... I've never used Logic.
Other than that, you could use a splitter on the main outputs and physically patch them back in to two of the inputs and create your monitor mix for the guitar player via one of the other CueMix mix busses (assigning the output of that mix bus to the two outputs that the guitar player is monitoring from).
