problem with built in sound in mother bored
i have a computer that has built in sound ...
its has line in, mic, and speaker out
the problem i have heard that when you record like for example
a song but you use a mixer and a prog like cakewalk pro or sonar, is it likey it needs to go from built in sound line in to the output of a mixer then from mixer back to the built in sound to ???
is it better to get a real sound card to do this stuff??
thanks concernd

no, what u said is not neccesary if u plan torecord with a mixer and software. how i do it at home is i have a sound card that came with my PC, (sound blaster) and i plug the mixer into Line In, and from the headphones (out) jack, i run a wire to my stereo (radio/cd/tape/etc big ass box) with two speakers connected to it. from then on your problem is lag. with good programs u can minimize the lag down to .2 milliseconds (correct me if im wrong).

ok

well, so its not a concern but just the quality of the sound would be better if im using a extenal sound card heh!@!
thanks
and its ok to use the built in sound in the motherbored...
im using a acer open motherbord that upgrade the drivers to the very last.. one it can get 3.20vers

iF YOU HAVE THE MONEY....

I would suggest that you invest a small amount of money on a new PCI internal soundcard.

Like a soundcard from M-Audio.

ok thanks for your help ....

its ok i will try on something else/..
