Problem with Ableton

Hey guys....


I spent a lot of money on a Home Studio.... and I also bought a new computer (pc Win7) I use ableton live 9, and every time I'm trying to work the software hangs......and then i need to restart my computer again...it usually happens when I'm trying to load
plugins and stuff like that... but even if i use the sounds from Ableton it still happens...

anyway, I tried to download ableton 8.2 , 8.3 , and 9.1 (what i'm using right now) I also uninstall the programs and ran them again, but it still hangs....

the computer is very very new and after format (SSD BTW) I'm using M- audio Axiom pro 49 - before the format I didn't use this controller.... I'm starting to think that maybe it's because of that...

what am i doing wrong ??!?! new computer, 3 different version of Ableton live....I really don't know what to do...I just wanna make music nothing else :[

Hi, been using Ableton for awhile and not seen any issues in general. Since Ableton calls up your interfaces, I have to speculate it is some kind of hardware problem. What interface are you using? If you are using your computer's sound card, then that is the most likely cause. You're not going to get very good performance or sound out of it. If you are using an interface, check to make sure your drivers are updated. Pretty sure your sound hardware is the issue.
