Hello, I'm just wondering if you guys can help me out.

Ok here is my problem I am trying to record guitar I have it running from an amp simulator to my mixer into my audiophile through the main inputs. Now the strange thing is that when I pull up the delta mixer it shows both the beat WavOut 1/2 from acid and the guitar H/W in 1/2, but I can only hear one or the other. I go into the patchbay router and select WavOut 1/2 I can then hear the beat but not the guitar, then if I select H/w in 1/2 I can hear the guitar but not the beat. Oh yean and another thing strange is that nothing registers in the Main Volume on the mixer, yet I can hear stuff.

Now this is a problem because the guitar player needs to hear the beat and the guitar when they record you know. It records just fine even when you can't hear the guitar or beat, because it is still registering I'm just not able to hear it. This really boggles my mind, so if someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated!

Let's see if I've got this straight. You're playing back a beat in Acid but trying to record the guitar into a different program? Some cards will not allow simultaneous use by more than one program.

Why not record the guitar into Acid?

The beat is already loaded into acid and that is what I am using as a beat.

Basically I just need to know if there is a way that I can monitor the WavOut 1/2 and the H/W in 1/2. Is that possible? Those are the two tracks that register on the delta mixer screen.

Patchbay - set HW out 1/2 to Monitor mix.
That's the only way to hear the panels monitor mixer ('cept you can also send it to s/pdif output if you have another DAC)

Don't forget not only must the "In 1/2" and "out 1/2" faders in the mixer be turned up, but also the Master faders up too and the mutes off.

You rule. Don't know why I didn't think of that. I guess because I seen it registering therefore I thought it was turned up. Haha man I've been at this for almost 2 days now. Should have came here first. Once again thanks!
