Has anyone used the NI FM7 DXI synth in Sonar? I am using the famous Glassy EP sound and all is OK until I save and on reloading the FM7 sound is then out of tune! I have upgraded the FM7 to 1.1 on the NI website but to no avail. The only way I can get the DXI back in tune is to delete it and reload it. Strange!

I have not had this problem....

Is there any kind of controller message being sent to tuning?

Every once in a while a soft synth does something strange. (no sound at all, or a moderately loud honk) Often I can't "fix" it, but have to create a new file and transfer stuff.... then it works fine. Doesn't happen often....

Thanks for your replies.
I'm not aware and can't see any tuning controllers. What is really wierd is it is detuning approx 1 semitone but microtonally so that you cant re-correct it. Also you can eliminate the problem by just switching the switch thing off then on again on the dxi synth panel. So everything still works then as normal.

Does anything show up as unusual or different on the "pitch" page of the preset...... what happens when you change presets?

NO I cant see any changes. When I change preset the pitch anomaly remains with the new patch until I disconnect and reconnect. I am using MME interface with SB Audigy since the WDM drivers dont work properly.

Just as a PS to this thread:

There appears to be a bug in the MME interface (SB Audigy WinXP) that causes this retune as this does not happen with the WDM drivers.
