Hi guys..
I had two night without sleeping.. Finally got rid of the noise..I think so..:)

I realised that that noise was a product of the high output volume of the card..But, I had no way to regulate the main fader..when I turned down or up, the music was regulated, and the noise was still there..

Then I decided to run my outputs thru my Spiritfolio mixer and the n to regulate the faders and the volume with it.. I did that..Turned the highest volume of the card output and then I lowered down the listening(monitors) and the noise was poorly nocitable..(I must tell you that I do a very loud listening)..

But.. That didn't get me ridd of the problems..Another one came..

Tried to record in the Cubase..It is ok..but It's all too loud ( the recording)..Don't know how to regulate the mic input..When I turn down the volume fader in the card panel, it silenced the monitoring in the headphones ( so the singer cannot hear what is singing- the monitoring is poor). What do do? What setting should I make?

Then , second.. I've connected my Live with Aardvark thru my analog ins and used channels 3-4 for that..It's ok..I hear the midi instruments playing..But..How can I record them? I play my midi with Live and then I want to convert them to audio..But when I record it, I only hear the sounding going thru my mic.. :( What setting should I make on my Aardvark to record the Midi from my LIVE? :((

3. What about the question of SPDIF? Can I connect both cards with SPDIF in/out on 44100?

Please help..

why don't you record into the computer through the line in via the mixer. That way you can control the level going into the computer from the mixer.

to record the midi, set your software to record through input 3-4, and make sure that you see activity on the meters. In cubase, go to your inputs and select 3-4.

yes, you can connect both card with s/pdif. But make sure that the LIVE card supports bit perfect transfers and can synchronise to the clock of the other card

question..

Ok, got your point..But..

Here is my exact setup. I run both mic's in my 1,2 ins of the Aardvark..Then, I've made a digital conection cable to conect them via SPDIF but then realised that SPDIF is only 48.000..
It also makes me a sort of knuckles and hums when playing the instruments when I run in that mode..So I've decided to run my Live thru analog 3-4 in's of the card.. I use outputs 1-2 of the card and and route the signal into Soundcraft Folio mixer and from it's monitor's section I drive my Dynaudio's.. The singer hears it all thru the headphones..That's my setup..

Everything is working properly except that MIDI section I run from my Live..I've told you, I use 3-4 ins for it.. But when I try to convert the track and record it into audio, nothing happens..(Talking about Cubase VST). I've turn up all three inputs of the card in VST input's section but nothing is recorded.. Tell me your advice..What to do?

Also, Live Platinum-ers must tell me how to achieve my dearest function "What you hear" in my aardvark setup..So, how can I record everything I hear..Playback from 1-2 output, midi track playing it 3-4 ins..How can I mix them in a wave file?

How can I turn up the volume of my headphone's out? It is so silenced they can barely sing in the cabin..

Waitin' the answers
Thank you
