Hi Everyone,
I'm new to Fostex home recording having recently purchased a new MR8 (well they're new in Australia anyway
)
Have been recording ok until today.
Problem is: During recording of vocal on track 2 the time left display ran out even though it was only track 2 and no other song on 256m card.
I deleted everything off card and started again, however this time the bars display counted out, as if it were recording, but the display of time remaining, remained 48min and didn't count down - the monitor was working fine but when replayed it had a swirling background noise in the headphones but no actual recording - it appeared no recording took place at all.
I shut it down and replaced it the card with the 128m card that comes with the unit and the same problem occurred (except of course showing 24min).
Any thoughts, ideas, comments or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Like I said I'm new to this but it has been fine for the last few weeks.
Hope I have supplied enough info to resolve the issue.
Thanks in anticipation,
Bernie
