Hi
I just installed a MIA Echo sound card. It has 2 1/4 analog inputs and 2 1/4 analog out. It records a track fine. I use Drumsite and it plays one drum beat fine, if you add another beat it totally bogs down and just pretty much quits!
Any Ideas? Do I need a regular soundblaster soundcard for playback?
THanks
Gerald

Did you check all your buffer settings? Are you using ASIO or WDM?

You do not need another soundcard.

I've run as many as 35 tracks back at a time, so you're doing something wrong or something's screwy with Drumsite....

When I play tracks from N-Track it runs 15% CPU. WHen I run Drumsite it runs 100% and needs 200%. Somehow Drumsite is hogging all the CPU!

I USE windows 2000 which uses WDM driver. I tried all the buffer from 64 to 2024, no difference. Sounds like I have a sample rate conversion going on that eats the CPU up. SOmewhere I need to set the Drumsite to the Echo rate.
