Problem once again??

I have my mic hooked up into my 1202-VLZ, then a 1/4 inch plug going from my channel insert into my input of my compressor. NOw from my compressor output to my input of my digi 001. When I first hooked up it up like this it was working fine and I was getting mic signal, NOW I'M NOT GETTIN A DAMN THING!!! I notice this a couple of times, it would work one day then the next day it wouldn't. What could be the problem?

Maybe a bad patch cable or something isn't seated all the way. Eliminate the compressor from the chain and see if the problem goes away. If it's still there replace patch cables. Just think of a process of elimination to try and localize the problem.

if your usin an insert as a direct out- check that- I heard that you need to seat the cable in the insert jack only half way- (the first click)- try that first
