Ok, I have 2 computers. One has an Aardvark LX6 installed and that one works great with my mixer (Mackie 1202). My problem is that I would like to hook my other computer up to my mixer so that I dont have to have 2 sets of speakers. This computer has a Soundblaster live soundcard installed. I tried hooking a 1/8" stereo cable from the speaker out on the soundcard to a stereo 1/4" converter then into the line in on the mixer. The problem is if I plug the cable all the way into the mixer, the sound is all scrambled. However, if I only plug the cable in about halfway, it sounds fine. What am I doing wrong? Should I be using mono instead of stereo plugs?

Get a 1/8"stereo to 2 RCA y-splitter cable and attach RCA to 1/4" adapters on the RCA ends.

is that my only option? The mackie only has 1 set of RCA inputs and I am already using them for my VCR :|

Like Brzilian said .... then you will use 2 channels on the mixer panned hard left and hard right for stereo.
Or use one of the mixers Stereo channels.

Radio Shack has adapters to go from RCA to 1/4 inch. Like $3 for a pair.
