Problem bringing multiple clips into Cool Edit Pro

I'm having problems bringing multiple audio clips into Cool Edit Pro using Pro Audio 9. It seems if I select a track which contains multiple clips combined (using the combine function) and select cool edit pro from the tools menu, only the first of the combined clips actually transfer over, the other clips are blank. I've tried selecting the clips from audio view, it seems i can only use cool edit from cakewalk to edit one wav. has anybody seen this. thanks....

what i did was export each track one at a time to a new wave folder,which contains your song track ex.bass track guitar track etc.after you have all the tracks open cool edit,find your wave folder open and import tracks to cool edit mutitracking screen one at a time you can also right click on the track and edit that track in the edit screen.
