i JUST GOT A G4/733/40GB/CDR & DIGI 001!
I WAs USING;
FOSTEX VR800 HD RECORDER W/ FOSTEX VM200 DIGITAL MIXER.
ALSO:
DIGITECH S100 (FX PROC)
ART TUBE MIC PRE AMP
AUDIO TECHNICA DYNAMIC MIC
MASHALL CONDENSER MIC
ELECTRIC BASS GUITAR
SAX
TRITON 61
MPC 2000 (ORIGINAL)
FOSTEX MONITORS (SATELLITES)
HOW CAN I CONTINUE TO USE MY MIXER AND OTHER EQUIPMENT WITH DIGI 001?
THE HD RECORDER IS AN ADAT OPTICAL CONNECTION.
ALSO I DONT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL PLUGINS (DON'T LAUGH I'M STILL NEW) CAN ANY ONE LEND ME SOME TIPS AND ADVICE?
GUYS IN MY NEIBORHOOD DIDN'T TAKE ME SERIOUS WHEN I FIRST STARTED BUILDING A "LAB" (SLANG) OVER A YEAR AGO, I GUESS THEY FELT IT WAS ABNORMAL FOR A CHICK........

First thing you should do is to stop typing your messages in ALL CAPS. It makes it seem like you are shouting.

As with all software...stability is in the eye of the beholder. Its only as stable as your system will let it be. Its just like all the arguments about n-tracks stability/instability. You really wont know unless you get your hands dirty with it.

ok i'mm lower case now, can u tell me how to install plugins or how i can connect any of my existing equipment to the digi?
i can experiment all day but i'd like a tip or some advice on what may be best or more effective.... ya dig?
