Just curious.... I'm thinking the answer you give will be based upon which one you started with first....

When programming midi tracks to control a "REWIREd" Reason instrument from Pro Tools, do you prefer using the sequencer in Reason or the one in Pro Tools?

In the end, which sequencer is more robust in your opinion?

I like Reason alot... depending on what i'm doing i'll use it every so often... i don't use it to it's fullest though like recording my Rhodes per say into reason just for the fact that the editing capabilitys are far less than just tracking it on Pro Tools... i use it more as a plug in than anything else... what i really like about it though is that i'll use it on an Aux track with say Re Drum and program simple drum patterns to get guitar, bass or synth etc. ideas down on an audio instead of using a click tack... the drums sound much better and help with getting that VIBE...as far as sounds and so on... i think that SampleTank is much better... if i did alot of looping and remixing i might use it more but i don't... it is really cool though... but for my final drum tracks is use DFH Superior from Toontrack... it's a hog on ram but sounds KILLER... IMO it's the best sounding and most realistic drum sampler out their... far better than BFD and a few others... but it takes alot longer and is more complex... i do everything inside Pro Tools... so there's my vote.. if it really matters :)
