Anyone know a good place to buy, or even get free (freeware or demo trials whatever) or where to find out about the latest plug ins available?

If you are using OSX and PT 6.01 - 6.1, there are quite a few free AU plug ins available. Frohmage and the Fish plug ins are sweet.

well, currently, there doesnt seem to be a place to get demo RTAS or TDM plugins, mainly because of the cost and research involved for most of them. maybe BombFactory and Waves have their demos, so try their websites, as for the other ones like fairchild, etc, sorry. again, antares offers a demo of its plugins. it would depend upon what os you use. mainly check out digidesign site. they let you know of the plugins and the sites.
