Pro Tools not recognizing firewire interface anymore

This just keeps getting better....after using everything just fine last night, I go down today and all of a sudden when I go to open PT it isn't recognizing the Firewire 1814 anymore. So I reinstall it. I reinstall PT. I reinstall 1814 again...nothing. Tried different cables. Tried taking it off the hub and going directly into the computer, still nothing. Any suggestions?

I use a firepod, and cubase, however the same thing happened to me. One day my firepod just wouldn't respond, I tried everything, but nothing worked. So i exchanged the firepod, and the new one worked. Maybe exchanging it is the solution. Digital devices have an increasing rate over time of being faulty i find.
