Those people should think about using a hard disk recorder instead of a PC.

Not having the internet in 2007 is like not having a letterbox in 1957

^ignorance

sheltered middle class naive kid, alot of people have the money and don't even want the internet, others clearly can't afford it because there's people who can barely afford their electric bill despite working full time.

plus i'm sure if you really can't use the internet you just need to call M-Audio up and they'll probably mail you the latest drivers. But then again, I guess your probably need the internet to find their contact info

they should atleast package the hardware with a cd of the new drivers, they should require the retailers do it or send it to them, they could standardize it in that way, they should force the retailers to know what they hell they are doing, it's not that hard if you're a retailer and have the net to supply the current drivers that go along with the product you customers are buying.

That costs money.

ok, well, then if they make it too hard for people, people will become pirates, AAAAAARRRRRR!!!

A lot of these boxes are packaged way before they're sold.Companies are trying to keep prices down and most people who buy soundcards have internet access. The amount of people who can't download drivers that want a prosumer quality soundcard is so statistically insignificant that it wouldn't warrant doing business any other way.

If you can't afford internet access, you need to look into a different hobby.

Seems like you want people to spend a lot of time and money to make things easy for you, you aren't willing to do the work yourself, yet you have no desire to pay anyone for this service.

more ignorance, didn't your mother teach you anything? or does she have compromised values as well?

it's just ignorance, even people who have the money, often choose to go without the net, it's not that great and can infect your hardrive with viruses that can corrupt your music files...what's wrong with you people, you think the internet is the end all be all?

you must be younger kids who grew up with the internet and can't 'imaaagine' living without it...lolol...well i guess there isn't all that much to do out there in wisconsin..

I have PT mpowered 7.1. Before i got the free upgrade, i think i had 6.9 or something, i noticed it would have some issues when midi syncing my mpc. It would sync stating the correct tempo but would be slightly off. I'd actually have to slow down the tempo more than what it actually was to get it to play the right tempo. I never had a problem sequencing midi however, or any problems when protools was triggering midi to another device. This has probably been dealth with but i don't know, i sold all my hardware stuff. But it has been an issue in the past and i don't know if they have dealt with this.

Everything else has already been covered but my main problem with the program is the lack of plug ins. What they offer is good, imo, just not enough compared to software in the same price range. It has the essentials but not much variety, etc. The second complaint people have is lack of tracks. I don't run into this but again, most programs in the same price range offer unlimited tracks.

Well, then you can contact the company and ask them to send you the latest drivers. That usually works. Or do you not have a phone either? Then you could write them a letter, assuming you could afford stamps. Or you could just make another rant on an internet forum about how shitty it is to be poor.

so you admit you're ignorant, that's good, it's the first step in your rehabilitation process, next step might be moving out of wisconsin, maybe you're eating too much cheese which is clogging you up.

is this guy for real?

99.9% of people seem to find a way to get software or driver updates off the internet. Companies target these people. The 0.1% will just have to find another way around it.

Now, please...can you insult me with your "you live in Wisconsin" joke again. Because that really hasn't gotten old or retarded yet.

Just ignore this fucktard. He's a troll, nothing more, and not a particularily intelligent one at that, although he obviously believes he is.

Welcome to my ignore list.
