Pro Tools LE Glitch

I've re-installed, reformatted, re-re-installed, get the same error:

1. I Install Protools le and the driver
2. I double click my desktop icon for pro tools le with my mbox plugged in
3. I immediately get a message:
"The procedure entry point _DsiSetThreadPriority@8 could not be located in the dynamic link library DSI.dll."

What the fuck is that?

If you are Trying only the Desktop icon, the shortcut may be bad, it happens some times, acess PT by going to start>all programs

yea i tried them all, but i installed protools on a different drive than windows, so maybe thats the problem. I doubt it though, i had this problem when they were on the same drive as well. it worked before, and one day it came up with this error and it wont leave.
 
could it be because i havent fully finished updating my windows back up to date?
do i need to download sp 2.0 if i dont have it?
 
get this... i needed to update quicktime. QUICKTIME! what the fuck, whatever, thats one more problem solved. :) alot more to go :(
 
if i lost the activation code am i fucked?
