Hello,

I recently puchased the upgrade to 7.3.1 for Pro Tools LE from version 7. After installation and rebooting, Pro Tools won't run. The start up window opens and loads everything, but before anything else can happen, Pro Tools closes and the computer tells me that Pro Tools has unexpectedly quit.

No matter what I do, it doesn't seem to make any difference. Does anyone have any advice? Please.

Thanks!

hmm..

thats the reason im still with 7.0. i was having problems getting everything to work again,so i rolled back from 7.1 back to 7 0.

the lesson i learned; if it aint broke, dont fix it..

i would contact digi support by phone, not thru email crap, because they are useless like that and redirect you to the FAQ's all the time.

are you using a universal mac or an older ppc ( like me ;) ) because maybe it's something with OSX rather than PT.

No it's not a cool new fancy universal mac. I got mine a few years before they started doing that.

Yeah i probably will call Digi Design... but of course they're not open on Saturdays. Because everyone knows no one records/needs help on Saturday. I suppose they deserve a day off.

If I can't get it all figured out soon, I may have to reload version 7.

7.3 Just sounds nice.

Thanks.

Is there a crash log in /Users/yourusername/Library/Logs/CrashReporter? What does it say?
