Pro tools editing question.

Ok, so maybe you can help me with this.

A friend of mine recorded a guitar track and it is a little off.

I know how to use elastic audio.

The problem is, the warp and analysis waveforms are grayed out. And I think this is in part to a tempo change in the song...


Any suggestions?

OK I take it back, it doesnt matter which session I open. Its greyed out everywhere. : /

You don't have the elastic audio selected on the track. Click on the symbol under the "dyn/read" section and a drop down box will appear allowing you to select what type of algorithm you want (i.e. Ployphonic, Rythmic, Mono, Varispeed). Then the warp and analysis option will be available. Page 769 of the manual. Hope this helps.
