The RNC has a very +4 I/O. Don't let the fact that it's small and inexpensive trick you into thinking that it's small and cheap.
If you took this unit, put it in a nice rackmountable steel chassis, added a second set of controls and dual mono capability, added an internal power supply and a choice of 'transformer' or 'actively balanced' outputs, as well as the some internal 'side chain' options to complement the 'side chain' jacks on the rear... you'd have yourself a "mid" to "upper mid" two thousand dollar" unit... in fact, at somepoint that very unit will be hitting the market with exactly those features!!
Call me 'clairvoyant'...
