pro audio 9 help

i am using pro audio 9 to record electric guitar. I recorded one track, and then tried to record a second part over it. the second guitar track is not in sync with the first one. how do i fix this? also, i was looking into buying sonar 4 but my computer is only 760 mhz. will this work? any suggestions?

Have you set the sync to Audio? (Options -> General, I think). What soundcard are you using?

And Sonar 4 on a 760 MHz? I wouldn't recommend it.
