Printing staff notation - HELP!

Hello

I am having a problem with printing off music scores in Cakewalk. The printer will print the round bits of the notes but not the stems, or the lines of the stave. So I end up with a page full of surreal-looking dots. Can anyone help me with this?? Printer is a Hitachi DDS32.

Susan,

Did you try printing a page from some other app, like your word processor, to make sure it's not a printer cartridge problem?
