how do I print a screen shot?

Hit the printscreen button. then open a photo editor and hit paste. then print from there.

alt printscreen will copy an image of the current selected window, that you can paste into wordpad, word etc .
Not using alt will copy the entire viewable screen, so you will get extra stuff like the taskbar, etc.
