In Oct./Nov. I seen several go on ebay for between $230-$270. I've not checked lately.

Just three days ago I was fortunate in winning an auction for a new KSM32/CG on eBay for $257. The CG (charcoal grey) is just the mic, without the aluminum case or shock mount, and retails for $50 less than the SL model (champagne color). I've already come up with an idea for a shock mount using readily available household materials...if I need one. Shure wants an arm and a leg for it.
It may take a while for another new one to roll up for auction, but there are generally a couple used ones regularly listed. Plenty of "Buy It Now" ones, but you'll pay top dollar that way.

I have a champaine one...and If I bought a grey one I guess the shockmount for the KSM44 would do.
