I've been working too long on a full cd.
I started this in november and finally finished in late december.
and just now getting around to posting it..

so.. blare your monitors, and tell me what you think

Really good, it sort of reminds me of Placebo sometimes. The only gripe I have is the high-hat is a little harsh, but other than that, everything sounds great.

Vocals are fantastic!

Really nice job on this .

I have little to offer, but I listened a few times and the vocals are really expressive and I like the way they cut right to the forefront. Drums sound really nice too. A pretty big and powerful mix.

Vocals are little too up-front for me. I'd like em in the mix a bit more, but otherwise it's a pretty great mix.

Excellent stuff, man. Seriously great. The only thing I might suggest is maybe a very subtle verb on the vox early in track to give it just a little dimension.

That said, I'm intentionally being overly picky. I'd be happy if my mixes sounded half this good. Everything is very clean, has its own pocketand the songwriting and performances are a plus as well.

thanks immensely for the compliments. I suppose the vox could be brought down in the beginning and at the super soft part right before the end. I'll take note of that before I send it off for a professional mastering.
