Nice man...has a great vibe. Sort of late seventies, early eighties, with some Motown funk. :D What is this recorded with? (some specifics on instruments, and mic'ing techniques..etc..)

Sounds pretty good to me. Good dynamics in the mix, but it's very cohesive. Nice bass tone, and good note choice.

I can dig it, man... :D

Thanks, D-Man.

My setup is:

Drums- DW Pacific kit,
mic'ed with: Shure Beta 52 on the kick, Shure 58 on the snare and toms, and 2 Octava mc-012's for overheads.

I used my Epiphone(?) bass through a JoeMeek VC1Q. Gretsch through a Peavey Classic 30 for all the guitars, and used a Shure 58 and an SP B1(through the same Meek as the bass) for the vocals. The keyboard part at the bridge is a Casio CTK-601.

I sub-mix to a Tascam tm d1000, then into Logic via a Hammerfall HDSP 9652 card.

My first thought was the vocals were to low but it gives the song its uniqueness. I Thought the drums were nice and punchy. Good tune.

I really like the vocals on your tunes. They remind me of someone I can't place, but are very cool in their own right

ACE BASS TONE.
Everything else is pretty flash too.
The voice is quite good. Sounds too blue eyed for the beat/rhythm.
Good melody too.
