Winner chicken dinner!
Hmmmm, I bought a presonus firepod and I won't record in 32-bit for some reason, only in 24. it records 24-bit fine in Cubase LE but I don't really know how to use that program, and AA is so easy to use and intuitive and I can basically do everything that I need to do with it using plug-ins, although I think the mixdowns leave something a little lacking from the original mix. Anyways, it may be just the driver won't work in AA32-bit since it's a pretty new product, but is there any way to record in true 24, instead of just the 16 or 32 that it shows when you press the rec options button? Or is there anything you might recommend I try to get it to record 32-bit?

Record in 32 bit (which is 24 bits plus some zeros) and if you want, save in 24 bit using the options box in the save dialog, which will throw away the unused bits (they will be unused so long as you don't process the file in any way). But there are good theoretical reasons for leaving it in 32 bit format until your final mixdown for 16 bit delivery (assuming that's the scenario).
