Presonus Central Station DA or Digi 002 DA???

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy the Central Station. I've read good things on these boards about the DA converters on the Central Station and I've read really bad things about the DA converters on the Digi 002. So, the question is, if I get this thing should I use the SPDIF outs on the 002 into the Central Station or should I use the analog outs on the 002 into "passive" analog inputs on the Central Station (not digital)?

Or quite simply, which unit has better DA? Anyone have these two units?
 
THanks, but I don't have the Central Station yet or I would. I'm trying to decide what to buy. Of course if I had the unit I would decide for myself. Duh!
 
Get it, and then if you don't think it kicks a$$ for the price even without the D-A, bring it back.

I bought mine not even knowing it HAD converters. However, I'm quite happy with them.

Hmmm... considering that you're fairly new here, and that Tex (who first responded) has a significant number of posts indicating that he's been here quite a while and probably knows a thing or two (which he definitely does), you may want to smarten-the-fuck-up and be more polite to people who are in a position to help you.......... duh.......

You're kidding right? I didn't mean anything by my post. I was just saying that obviously if I had the gear I would use my ears and see which was better. I was looking for a little advice from someone that actually had one around that had maybe A-B'd them. That's all. I didn't mean to start a war.

No war... just from the tone of your response to Tex it sounded to me like you were being an ass... if you honestly didn't mean it that way, I take back what I said!
