I'm really thinking about purchasing that Pre but I need to know if it's any good. Not only that but does anyone have a sample of it's quality? Need help ASAP because I need to finish this project...thank you.

See, but this is the thing...you say you get what you pay for now I know people with the cheapest preamps and still get good quality. So you can't say you get what you pay for because you'll be special about what sound comes out of something cheap. Now, can anyone else tell me anything about this preamp.

I was just looking at the bluetube dp, too. The archives have many comments on it:

the original bluetube was less liked, often said to be noisy.
somewhere i read that the bluetube dp uses the same solid-state preamps as the firebox.
