Preferences for Sound Cards

At present I have an AWE 64 soundcard.
Can any one help with an upgrade, what do you reccommend?

I am looking for something with SPIDF, not too cheap, not too dear.

I have one and i think its great 6 ins 6 outs

plus alot of people on here are giving good reviews about it
plus it ain't that expensive

I used to have an AWE 64. Bloody awful audio card. Only half duplex with lots of hiss and stuff.

Now have a Delta 66+omni. Awesome performance. But you could also start off with a Delta 2496. Check it out:
