I have a Joemeek VC1Q preamp. It has XLR inputs on the front and back. I was wondering if I could use both of these to power 2 mics - for example overheads, where the settings would be equal. Is there anything wrong with doing this?

The input on the back is a line in. It doesn't have phantom power and more than likely is switched out of the circuit when you plug in a mic in the front.

I have an XLR on the back of mine as well as the front. I'm gonna try it when I get home, I just was wondering if anything would get overpowered/underpowered, or blow up my system or something.

You need a mixer or another preamp. A single channel preamp can only carry one signal.
