preamp question

I am thinking of getting a behringer VX2000 Ultra Voice pro mic Preamp to use for live performances and home recording...does anyone know if you could also run a guitar through this preamp..I was thinking of running a mic through one channel and out to a PA system and running my guitar through the other channel and into my amp...is this possible?

As far as I know that unit is just 1 channel...behringers version of a focusrite voicemaster.
