Hi people,

me again. It's taken a while but I did actually fix up some of those annoying "off" vocal sounds in this song as suggested by the forum. For the sake of completeness this is now available. Would appreciate your comments for those who can remember the tune from before.

Look for "Praises Mk III"

Thanks in advance

I remember this....

..... and it does sound better.:)

I think the drums could use a bit of compression on the kick to level out the uneven hits. Maybe scoop a bit of mids out of the backing vocals to separate 'em from the lead a bit more. Some (more) de-essing wouldn't hurt that either.;)

Those are just nit-picks though. Sounds pretty good!

Thanks for listening and your suggestions ... no guarantee when I'll get back to this one though.

Enjoy it in the meantime :)

I followed your link but I couldn't find the song. I don't have a nowhere account can I still get access?

yeah the link doesn't seem to be working like it use to.

You need to click on "Diskography" then "Singles" to get to the songs.

I'll admit it's not entirely obvious. Have another go.

You put a period at the end of the url you posted in the original post, thats why it's shooting folks to the main artist bio page instead of your "singles" Page.

Edit out the period and you'll be good to go.

Sounds like you might have added some additional reverb to the chorus? Regarding the vocals, I really didn't have a problem with the original - but I did notice things are tighter in this version. Still wish you would have added a counter melody - especially around 2:49. This song is "screaming" for one.

Still sounds good.

Thanks ... glad you like it. It is a very happy sound (take note chisharris ! ;) - a running joke)

I love the lyrical content of this song. I could definately hear us singing this during praise and worship at church. I was enjoying the message so much I didnt notice if there was anything wrong with the recording. I like it!!!
