Thanks for the mixing advice. I used the sweepable mid on my Korg d16 today and made the 200 hz cuts on the bass parts of several songs previously recorded. I couldn't freaking believe how much clearer the bass parts are now! Before the cuts (about 6db) they sounded mushy, kind of like sitting next to a booming hip hop car at an intersection. The cuts made them much more articulate and got rid of alot of ringy overtones.
I'm fairly new here. I don't know what people did to piss you off in the first place, but I hope they do it again and you spew out some more killer, vitriolic advice
