Well, I thought about the Mackie HR-624s. But, in the end I sure as hell am not gonna spend $1000 canadian on my first pair of monitors.
The 12x8 room, is going to be soundproofed & acoustics put in to the best of my ability. Also, hows the bass response & low end on these? I need heavy bass, hard hittin' mids & a sparkling hi. If I can get these with 20/20s, they'll sure to be my first monitors. The genre of music I want to record/produce, is soul, hip-hop, r&b, and a little bit of reggae.
