Just purchased a used Soundcraft 200 BVE 8-channel mixer but cannot figure out what kind of power adapter/supply/cable I need for the unit. Internet searches have not yielded a ton of answers -- can anyone help? There's no way the 'Soundcraft/Spirit CPS-150 Power Supply Unit for RM Series Broadcast Consoles' for $1000 is the only option, right?

Please help!!

I have two spirit power supplies. I'll check them out and let you know Ladyfinch.

Just found the pictures of the one you purchased off ebay if that was you.
I couldn't count the number of pins for the power supply but it looks like the same one as the ones I have here.

Moresound, I'll get a picture of the back of the board and post it on here for you. Thanks so much for the speedy reply and help!

If memory serves me right what I have an extra of is the DCP 100. Will it work for you?

The 200BVE used the CPS series of power supplies but exactly which one depended on the frame size of the mixer--we used to have 200BVEs ranging from 8 input to 32 input frames. I know we had some CPS450 and CPS650 PSUs but there may have been smaller ones too.

The CPS manuals are available online for download HERE.so you could potentially recreate the right voltages and pinouts with other PSUs with a bit of effort.

The 200BVE was a lovely little mixer--I particularly liked the channel EQ section. I "borrowed" one from work for several months once and rather regret my honesty when I returned it!

Five pins!
